Cowboy Junkies: Enthusiastically, I just bought performance tickets and booked flights from Indiana for your show in Kent Washington on October 02 for my boyfriend and I in order to celebrate his 59th birthday. Your mesmerizing musical poetry is one of only two that we will travel cross country which to hear. The other has come from the great lyricist, Leonard Cohen. Our love has endured many tests, he is nineteen years my elder, and it has been difficult for many to accept our relationship. I truly love this man. He introduced me to Cowboy Junkies in Indianapolis in a small venue called the Music Mill several years ago. We requested “Thousand Year Prayer” which Margo sang like an angel as we alone danced in the aisle, oblivious of the world around us. FOR ANDREA AND STEPHEN, on October 02, at the Kent Performing Arts Center PLEASE sing THOUSAND YEAR PRAYER. Thank you and peace be with you.
Come to New Zealand and play the Brooklyn Bowl. You’ll love it. The acoustics are unreal atmosphere amazing. It will be summer, so you can have a swim in the ocean.
Thank you so much for coming to Bellingham! We last saw you perform on top Silver Mountain in Kellog, Idaho, with Leo Kotke, about 10 years ago. Greatly looking forward to seeing you this Thursday!
Another fantastic show in Edmonds. You played in my old school house. I brought three people who had never heard of you before and bought each of them a CD afterwards. You now have three more fans. Keep up the great work.
Great show yonight in Bend – loved it! missed hearing blue moon.
