Under Cover (part 2) and other news

We have just released part 2 of our free download Under Cover Series. On the 15th of every month we are offering free downloads of two cover songs: one recorded by Cowboy Junkies and another recorded by a Latent artist. We are running this feature off of the Latent Recordings Facebook page. All you need to do is go to the page, click the Under Cover link and follow the prompts. 

This month the two songs are Cowboy Junkies version of Neil Young's Cortez the Killer and Jerry Leger's version of Neil Young's Wonderin'. For more background info about the recordings vist Cowboy Junkies website where Michael Timmins has blogged about the tracks.

In other Latent news we are just finishing up the new Lee Harvey Osmond album which will be released early next year. We'll be telling you a lot more about it in the coming months. 

The Skydiggers have just released a Christmas cd which include a couple of originals as well as some unexpected treasurers. Definitely a welcome relief from Bing and the usual suspects on xmas morn. You can only buy the album at Skydigger shows or on-line.
