June newsletter

Cowboy Junkies have been busy working toward a new project that we hope to have available in late September. We’ll have a lot more details in next month’s newsletter and on the website and Facebook page. But in the meantime, what we can tell you, is that it will be a 4 disc box set called Notes Falling Slow that will include some remastered catalog albums as well as a disc that will have nine or ten brand new recordings. Once we get our act together we’ll be offering a bunch of insights and behind the scenes looks through our website.

We continue to be pleased and excited by the reception and feedback that Beautiful Scars is getting…“digs into spooky blues and the underbelly of the Canadian folk tradition, with jazzy horns and flutes, weeping pedal steel guitar, haunting vibraphones and beatnik hand percussion. …one of the greatest Canadian bands of the last 10 years”. If you haven’t checked it out yet, please do. You can judge for yourself by streaming it for free off of the LHO website.
